You Have been lied in Strayed VR. Everyone seems to think you need to build ONE huge base... but I think that’s one of the biggest mistakes you can make in Strayed.
In this video, I showcase my go-to Strayed base design and explain why I prefer building multiple smaller bases instead of one massive base.
Think about it — if you keep all your guns, resources, explosives and loot inside one huge base and it gets raided, your entire wipe can be over. You’re basically deleted from the map.
Instead, I build multiple smaller bases and split my loot between them. If somebody raids one, I haven't lost everything. I can simply move to another base, rebuild and carry on with the wipe.
I’ll take you through the full progression of my base design, including:
🔨 Core Base – The basic starting design
🏠 Starter Base – Cheap and easy early-wipe setup
🛡️ Standard Base – My normal everyday version
🔥 Advanced Base – Upgraded for later in the wipe
🎯 Shooting Floor – Extra PvP and base defence options
⚒️ Furnace Base – Additional expansion and utility ideas
The best part is that the design can grow with you throughout the wipe. Start small, expand when you have the resources, then build additional bases around the map and spread your loot.
One giant base = one giant target.
Multiple smaller bases = multiple chances to survive.
