Not everyone coming back to DJing wants gigs. Plenty of us just want to enjoy it again at home, for the love of it, and there's nothing daft about that. DJ gear sits alongside the guitars and keyboards in the music shop window now, and nobody asks the bloke buying a guitar where he's playing next. You don't need an audience to be a DJ.
In this video I show you how to set up a home space you'll actually want to use, from leaving your gear permanently out to lighting it properly and getting the height right so you can stand and play like DJs do. Then I tackle the bit nobody talks about - what to actually do once the gear's on and there's no crowd to play to, so your sessions have shape and you keep getting better and having fun.
