Car Pondering with Dad is where I slow down and reflect on Scripture in real life, and today I’m pondering 1 Peter 5:7 and casting my cares on God. Feeling like you’re holding everyone’s emotions, schedules, and crises together with spiritual duct tape? You don’t have to carry it all alone. In this “Car Pondering with Dad,” we’re talking honestly about anxiety, overwhelm, and what it actually looks like to cast your anxiety on God — not just crochet it on a pillow.
We’ll park our hearts in 1 Peter 5 7: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
Not “manage your anxiety.”
Not “pretend you’re fine.”
CAST it. Throw it. Get it off your chest and into His hands.
In this video, we’ll chat about:
• Why Christian women feel guilty for feeling anxious (even when we know the verse)
• The difference between carrying everything alone and inviting God into the middle of the mess
• A simple way to pray when your brain is buzzing and your chest feels tight
• How to start handing God the things you’ve been secretly white‑knuckling
This isn’t a polished sermon. It’s me, in the car, talking to our Father — the One who actually cares and actually carries. Your anxiety does not disqualify you from being a “good Christian.” It qualifies you to come to the One who says, “Daughter, you don’t have to carry that alone.”
