We started the day at Delamere which was only 12 kilometres away from Wiring Cove. We thought about dropping in to Rapid Bay but having been there camping in the past we knew there wasn’t much to see except the long jetty and the camping site. We didn’t know what to expect at Wirrina Cove given the size of the complex and its 18 hole golf course. We were happy yet disappointed at the same time that so few people were staying there. It did mean though that at all times the resident kangaroos were happy to almost come right up to the room windows and hang out on the greens. As a result of so few people being booked in the menu was quite sparse and the bar also a bit under stocked. Having said all of that however, would definitely stay again.

In 2022 I kayaked 2220kms of the Murray River raising $19k for prostate cancer research. We’ve ridden the length of England, Scotland and Wales on everything from a Suzuki 650S, Ducati 748R, Fazer 600, CBR600, VFR800’s and R1’s. We’ve taken BMW GS700s from Ushuaia to Machu Pichu in South America, taken RE Classic 500’s around Rajasthan in India, ridden off road in Cyprus, and covered a lot of New South Wales on R1’s and Fazer 600’s, and South Australia on MT09’s and now our current rides the Kawasaki Z650RS’s.
