Around 2-3 days ago I got quite sick, so I decided to use the time and make a tear through this game. What followed was literally SIX different Universal/21 clears within 30 hours. This happens to be the 50th clear, a legacy ?/21.2 that is extremely unique in the style of play that it incorporates. I found out you could essentially 16k manip the entire thing and ever since I was having quite a bit of fun on this chart!
There are 5 other unuploaded universal/21 clears that I have yet to upload, and all of them were obtained within the last 30 hours. Years ago it took me weeks to clear a single one of them, now Im only the 4th person EVER to clear 50 of them. Crazy stuff.

Years ago, I saw Jo Future play this chart. The clips of his progress on this chart were truly motivating, stunning, and ultimately incomprehensible for me at the time. This was one of the very charts that got me into the game, a chart so unforgiving, technical, and hellish, that I couldnt even understand it at all, and I loved it.
Fast forward to the Deep Sea clear, I was growing very tired of plenty of things throughout the ADOFAI community at the time and eventually decided to just drop it all and ignore it. I left, maybe not on the greatest of notes, being utterly bitter, genuinely annoyed, and essentially burnt out.
A few days pass, and I think it over, knowing that I couldve left on much better terms, but let my frustrations ravage me. I knew I had to leave things off on a better note, so I looked back all the way to my roots, and refound this chart. I knew then what I had to do.
Plenty of hours of learning went by, and I really wanted to give effecting a fair shot, never having done it before. So I message PLORALD about the secret grind I had embarked on, and I got permission to effect the majority of this chart. For a true first attempt at effecting, I could say that albeit messy, it was quite successful. This may or may not be the final effected version, so keep a look out within the next week on whenever the effected version releases!
Needless to say, this is one of the charts I remember most in this game, and Im so unbelievably glad that I got to do it.
Ill still definitely be playing this game from time to time, but Im most certainly done with this as a main game, nor will I interact much with the community at large. I feel as if my job is done, and I couldnt be happier with the results.

had a cracked session today, took literally 30 minutes total
The past few weeks Ive been really trying to work on as much indexing/speed fundamentals as possible, and its paying in dividends. This chart isnt possible without doing some pretty nasty 10kmax bursts at 1000 bpm, most of which are inherently inconsistent in nature, and throw that in with a good amount of inconsistent rolling and you have yourself a good short challenge. Somehow, it took 7 minutes of full attempts and I got a fluke from 22. Crazy stuff lol.

Gender and a Metal Bat took an absolutely absurd amount of time, over a year spent on just trying to close the book on a crazy long grind. This only took 4 days. The amount Ive improved this year is absurd.
The context for this one is quite simple: I have a lot of Worlds First clears, and I have one of a chart from nearly every single popular charter (Asansis, PLORALD, Nephrolepis, Han_rang, Codice, ETC.) All except one that has alluded me the entire time Ive been playing this game: Saroua.
Looking through Saroua charts, I recognized a few that I could pick up and learn, like 129, cryptic worthy widget (which i dropped around the time I took a break,) and obviously Cursed Metamorph (we all know what happened with that one.) This one, on the other hand, was really interesting to me for some reason, and no matter what I played I really couldnt shake it from my head.
I love unique charts and this one is no different, I went quite hard on this grind, playing up to 8 hours on one day just meticulously practicing this chart because honestly, its super fun! Been a while since I had a new Top 5 play (IMO,) and Im glad I got to finish this one!
Ill probably be working on clears above the U5 range for once, mostly because I want to actually get my ranked score up a smidge (going below Top 25 on the Ranked LBs is kinda odd, as Im fairly confident Im a top 10 player overall in different skillsets :p)

Im gonna be honest this really isnt as hard as it is chalked up to be. Most of the gameplay is U5 gameplay at its hardest, and its not technically complex or physically demanding enough to warrant a U7 rating, much less a U8 one.
Its pretty much no secret that Im quite terrible at any gameplay involving stamina/speed, so the fact that this was a 2-3 day grind honestly baffles me. I dont think this is as hard as people think it is, this is unironically easier than some U5s, including Fallen Symphony even.
(this was recorded on a different pc! this mostly explains the extreme amount of misses, as well as the different keyviewer/UI, and the fact that there is no microphone present. these PCs have really bad audio, and usually Im in there if I dont have any time to play myself :p)
