Just going over a mechanic in Persona 5 I was never aware of until recently. A couple of the girls in the game can actually reject Joker if certain dialogue options aren't selected during their Confidant, but actually seeing it happen is pretty unlikely unless you mess up really badly or go for it on purpose.
