It's time for one last Deltarune cover before chapters 3 and 4 release! This song has the unique honor of being on the chapter 1 and chapter 2 soundtracks, so now is the perfect time to cover it. Special thanks to Caitlin and donut for helping me with another cozy chamber hometown cover!
One of my favorite things about this tune is how it combines the Home leitmotif from Undertale with the new Don't Forget leitmotif from Deltarune. I was tempted to put the Home leitmotif in the marimba part as I'd done with the solo a few years ago, but I wanted to change things up this time and use the marimba for some of the background string voices instead via some tasty rolls with the new mallets I got earlier this year. I'm also super happy with how the djembe sounds! The lower bass notes come through nicely without covering anything up while the higher tones and slaps speak clearly throughout the ensemble.
