So far in this series we have celebrated the fact that we have been chosen by God to live fully "IN" Christ. Last week we emphasized that we also have been redeemed. The purpose of that redemption is so that we might testify to the world, and eventually to the entire universe, that our God is a God of mercy and grace and He has lavished His love upon each of us. Now, having been chosen and redeemed we are also reconciled. That is, we have been brought back fully into a right, and righteous, relationship with God. There is no longer any barrier, or wall, between us. We also read last week that we have been seated with Christ. I can hardly imagine the depth of mercy and love that would allow me, personally, with all my sins, to sit with Jesus fully reconciled. Only God!!! Only God!!!
