Are we allowed to compare Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3? They're totally different games after all... OF COURSE WE ARE...and that's exactly what I'm doing here; comparing how different games incorporate various elements of game design to different levels of effect, and because these elements transcend genre, art style, mechanics, platform, etc., it's perfectly fair and actually quite fruitful to have discussions comparing how well, or poorly, they each go about accomplishing their game design goals.
