You Are My World

Dame Priscilla Maria Veronica White OBE was born on May 27, 1943 and passed away on August, 01 of 2015. She was known by her stage name Cilla Black and she was a singer, television presenter, actress, and author.
Championed by her friends the Beatles, she began her career as a singer in 1963. Her first record, "Anyone Who Had a Heart" went straight to number 1 and because of her powerful voice and strong delivery both record producers and the general public wondered if she could follow
it up. She could and she did with, "You're My World" giving her two number one songs in 1964.
In 2013, Black celebrated her 50 years in show business. British television network ITV honored this milestone with a one-off entertainment special which aired on 16 October 2013.

No, I am not a restaurant in Portland, Oregon. I was living in Portland when I sold my first, "Nursery Crime," starring Veritable Quandary and a short time later the restaurant opened their doors.

I do, however, hold the rights to KLOD Radio, Gyro Screwloose, Widget Outawhak, The First Church Of The Big Bucks And Tax Deductible House Of Worship, Soap Enders, The Necromancer, Creature Of The Night, City Of Nuclear Waste, Huxter, Shyster and Finagle, Attorneys At Last and Slipshod And Fast Buck Industries.

If you are a subscriber to the V.Q. and, like me, you can't stand that disgusting 30 second promo YouTube puts after almost every song on every play list, tell me and I'll turn KLOD Radio into 1 single file to end that issue.

As always I look forward to your comments and feedback and if you have any ideas send them to me.

KLOD Radio is a parody of the AM radio stations I listened to while growing up in the PNW. Before you ask why didn't I listen to FM the answer is, IT DID NOT EXIST YET!
Here you will find spoken word, novelty music, cartoon music, parody advertising, humor and some original work all inside the framework of an AM radio station circa 1965.
One segment of KLOD Radio is, "Then And Now." which is based on a simple idea.
Start with a hit song performed by the original artist and about half way through the song shifts to the same song, same artist on about the same note but at least 35 years later. 35 years is the minimum. I prefer to have the time between, "Then," and "Now" to be fifty (50) years.
