This song's about a dinosaur
who helps a child we all adore
a hero now, this we know
but this was a long time ago

Before the plumber had seen a pipe
Before he gained an extra life
Before he could even say a word
He was carried in blankets by a bird

Flyin' across the stormy sea
Carrying twins - one red, one green
The bird was ambushed by a lizard
known as Kamek, a powerful wizard

The magikoopa charged quite fast
and snatched the babies from his grasp
"The babies are mine!" he yelled with glee
He grabbed the stork, "You're coming with me."

Off he flew, unaware, plummeting blew them threw the air
completely unnoticed despite its cry
one of the babies fell through the sky
luckily for him down below a green yoshi was goin' for a stroll
he caught the baby on his back and got the toddler back on track

Usin' the map that'd fallen with him
he plotted out a route for the rescue mission
and with the help of the Yoshi tribe
they helped him save his brothers life
