Yosemite Sam and the Gold River Adventure opened at Six Flags Over Texas in 1992 and has been entertaining guests ever since.
There’s a wild and wacky wabbit…er, rabbit, hunting down bad guys at Six Flags Over Texas. Yep! Bugs Bunny and friends are chasing Yosemite Sam, who has relieved the bank of all its gold. And Captain B. Bunny of the fearless Texas Rangers is deputizing visitors.Yosemite Sam and The Gold River Adventure is a fun-filled Looney Tunes dark ride featuring twenty-nine animated characters, dozens of special effects and colorful settings. Animatronic characters include everyone from the Stetson-wearing Bugs to a pistol-packin’ Daffy Duck and Wile E. Coyote.
It’s an audience-participation adventure with characters talking directly to visitors, who are also dropped into a stream-filled tunnel, blown up with dynamite, and hit by spouting water.The ride has been running over 25 years and is proven to be a major success.
