Yooka-Laylee is important to a lot of people. It's a statement of intent, and a window to the past. But it also came under large amounts of fire for it's design. Was the criticism warranted?

Kingdom Hearts as a series is widely considered a button masher. Kingdom Hearts 2 especially seems permanently marked by this criticism. But is it fair? Is it accurate? It only seems fair to me that we test this notion, that we challenge the idea by taking away the most versatile, core part of our moveset.
