Man’s sin separates him from the Qodesh One, YaHuWaH, the I Am that I Am. He is all-knowing, all-seeing. There’s no hiding from Him. Darkness is like light to Him. He sees your heart, your thoughts, and who you are when no one else is watching. He gave you life. He knows the beginning and the end. He wrote your story but what you do with it still matters. We live in a lawless generation, full of violence, lies, witchcraft, pride, and rebellion. People don’t even blink at sin anymore. But YaHuWaH has recorded it all. Your sins will find you out.
That’s why we observe Yom Kippur, not as a tradition, but because it’s a day of reckoning and atonement. A day to humble yourself. A day to tremble before the One who holds your breath in His hand.
Man is made of dust, and we forget that. The fear we’re supposed to have isn’t panic, it’s Yireh — a reverent awe of the Most High.
Everything you are is a gift from Him. Return to Him while you still can.
