There has recently been a rise in awareness of inappropriate photos taken at the Jewish memorial. This was brought to attention through a project called the Yolocaust, by the artist and activist, Shahak Shapira. This project takes inappropriate photos taken at the memorial and replaces the background with actual scenes of the Holocaust through photoshop to display how inappropriate some of these photos really are.
