A machine from my personal fleet! My Yokomo YD-2 Plus from 2016, the year the YD2 series was first released. This car happens to be the first batch of the original release of the YD-2 when there was only two models, the Basic and the Plus. This chassis flipped the scene on its head and was the beginning of a new era in RC RWD drifting. Nearly every chassis at my local track back in the day after only a few short weeks was a YD-2. Since then there have been many versions and letter iterations. The current generation of Yokomo cars (RD, SD and MD series) owe a lot of their bloodlines to the YD-2 generation...it all started with this car.
