I return to reupload this mystical original today based on Old Norse mythology., and of course very much connected with the Viking era.
As some of you know., this is a style of song I love to write, and hope you will enjoy. I have added a description below, for anyone unfamiliar with Odin and the Tree Of Life.
Yggdrasil is also called the World Tree or Tree of Life because it contains all the worlds and represents the cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth. Yggdrasil is an important element of Norse mythology .. It is the Norse sacred tree of life, encompassing all nine worlds that are part of the ancient Norse view of the cosmos. It is an ash tree in which all of the worlds, including the world of humans and the world of the gods, nestle among the branches and roots

My footprints head north to the frozen lake
I'm not going to fly with the ravens
I know I'll see them again in the warm spring rain
I'm not going to leave in the morning
I need the full , blood red moon to guide my way

Branches entwine my soul at Yggdrasil
Flesh and blood , spirit of life

As the full moon meets the sunlight....
