My name is Yesenia and I am a Colombian-born knitwear designer and maker and live in Connecticut.

Since I had my second daughter, in 2014, I turned my hobby into a business and since then I have been working in my Studio as a Knitwear designer and Maker.

My work is deeply inspired by my roots, culture, and the stories that have marked my family. I design knitting patterns and make finished pieces that feel meaningful, cozy, and timeless.

I use texture, color, and techniques, like Fair isle, as a way to tell stories. Several of my patterns are inspired by loved ones and my upbringing in Colombia, reflecting my belief that knitting can be both a creative practice and a form of connection.

I hope that the content that I share encourages knitters to slow down, trust their hands, and enjoy the process.
