A quick demonstration to show my Rivian R Juan S powering my house in a simulated grid outage. Huge tank to point guard for finding out what happened with my system and why it didn’t work the previous weekend as well as how I could’ve fixed that. Hopefully those videos will be helpful to people out there from installers to owners. When my system was installed the person who initialized it, set it up, mistakenly as a DC system. That meant that it did not automatically wake up and start making power when my panels did. That has been remedied and point guard has been kind enough to give me access to beta bidirectional charging, so I have now tested several times that capability with my Rivian.
