Snap-on tools in a Craftsman toolbox? Yes — and there’s a reason. This old Sears USA-made Craftsman box means something to me. It was my first real technician toolbox, built with thicker steel and better construction than many modern boxes in my opinion.
I’m not sponsored by Snap-on, ICON, Craftsman, Harbor Freight, or anyone else. I buy tools from every brand and say what I honestly see.
Some Snap-on tools are engineered better. Some ICON tools are incredible values. The ICON G2 ratchets are impressive for the price, while some other ICON tools don’t hit that same level.
The point is simple: don’t worship brands. Buy the best tool for the job, your budget, and your reality.
