Such a privilege to sing Chip Davis first ever composition together with him and Ms.Tabitha Fair. Between the two of them there’s no one they haven’t sung with....Tabitha sang with Sting, Lady Gaga, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Sam Moore (of Sam & Dave fame) Mary J. Blige...and many more. Fantastic singer and the sweetest soul ever. Chip is like a brother...love his writing, his amazing voice and crazy musical ear. Sang on almost every country song you can think of.
A few other artists that Chip worked with include Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Don Felder, Mickey Gilley, Michael English, Russ Taff, Kenny Hinson, Gaither Vocal Band, Carman, and the list goes on and on. Chip sang in the behind-the-scenes-choir on a bunch of Homecoming videos. The Martins performed Chip’s composition “Grace” on the Hawaiian Homecoming video. He currently tours with Country music legends Alabama. In fact, he wrote the title song of Alabama’s latest project, Southern Drawl. My best friend in the world! And I choose to sing this simple tune written by a child...because it’s all about childlike faith. The rest (religion) is ballast. And it’s to me an instant gospel classic...love that tune!
