Yellowstone Kevin Costner Reveals NEW Details on Him Departing From the Series!

Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan knew he needed a big name to lead his neo-Western when he pitched it to Paramount. The creator and the network also knew they would have to cough up the cash if they were going to get an A-list star. With this, he successfully casted Kevin Costner as patriarch John Dutton.
As it turns out, John Dutton was almost a short-lived character, with Costner saying he initially planned to do one season and exit the series. Sheridan insinuated that the series could last for an additional two seasons after Yellowstone season 4. With rumors that Yellowstone season 5 may see the death of John, the end of the series may be sooner than audiences think.
