Yee sang is one of the luckiest, and most fun, dishes you can make. A common Chinese New Year dish originating in Singapore and Malaysia, Yee sang combines auspicious and lucky ingredients together for a spectacular salad.
The idea is that you arrange the individual ingredients on a serving platter, and then every gathers around with their chopsticks to toss it high into the air. The higher you throw the salad, the better your luck in the coming year!
