Instead of the stunning mountain views and incredible wildlife sightings we hoped for, we were met with constant rain and mist-covered peaks. Our hiking plans, including Moose Pond Trail and Coulter Bay Lakeshore Trail, were scrapped, and we never spotted a moose, bear, or elk.Despite the disappointment, we made the most of our trip by exploring Jackson Hole, visiting the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, and taking photos at the iconic antler arch in Jackson’s Town Square. We also stopped in Dubois, Wyoming, home to the Giant Jackalope Exxon Country Store and rich in Old West history from the Wyoming Tie and Timber Company.Was this trip what we expected? Not quite.
