This video shows the MH80 robot depalletizing random-cases from a pallet and placing the cases (or boxes) onto an outfeed conveyor.

The cases are located using software and perception hardware from Industrial Perception, Inc. The perception hardware is embedded into the end-of-arm gripper. Cases are located independent of position on the pallet, size or condition.

Yaskawa—a global leader in robotics, motion control and inverter drive products and solutions—features over 270,000 installed robots under the Motoman product brand. Yaskawa sees logistics and supply chain as one of the most significant growth areas for robotics; including robotic truck loading and unloading, as well as mixed-case depalletizing.
