At Yara, we are striving to create an inclusive culture where Black leaders are fully appreciated, valued and thrive. This is why we created the Black Leader Development Program. 🤝
Designed to meet the leadership development needs of current and future Black leaders, the program brings together colleagues from various backgrounds, equipping them with the necessary tools to grow within the company. đź“ť
This is not only transforming our organization, but also catalyzing change in the agricultural sector. By nurturing the leadership potential of Black professionals and fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment, we’re building a foundation for sustainable agricultural practices, while ensuring no one is left behind on the path to zero hunger. 🌍
Specifically, the program aims to:
âś… Boost leadership confidence, authenticity, effectiveness and impact
âś… Foster clarity, commitment and strategies for pursuing career ambitions
âś… Provide skills to influence and build key stakeholder relationships
âś… Connect with other Black leaders in a powerful network for mutual support and influence
And with the first cohort being held in-person in Oslo, we caught up with them to see how the program is going! 🎤
