Is this bike capable of everything you need? An awesome commuter and capable of still being weekend off road legend? With Japanese built in reliability and build quality there's a great chance this bike could put pressure on the factory to keep up with demand.
As an experienced bitumen basher I've decided to see if a 'middle aged' (in body not mind) motorcyclist can transition his skills to being a decent 'Adventure Rider'. I have limited off road experience compared to the roads, I'm not tall, in fact I've got short legs, I weigh 70kgs and ... I made a mistake in selling my BMW F800GS .... so how to rectify it? Well a test ride of the Yamaha T7 might just lube up my wallet (or Mrs Rider Guider's purse! - WISH ME LUCK on that one) .... SO join me whilst I chat about my first impressions of this highly regarded Yamaha (XTZ690) Tenere 700 as I take it up through Belair via Windy Point in Adelaide, South Australia and also see how I go when I have a short but sweet ride down a nice track (and back) before hitting the freeway to test out the windshield! Some beautiful scenery out here!!!
Am I gonna get one? Errrrr DAMN RIGHT I AM!!! I LOVED THIS RIDE and did not want to give it back!
