Kier Darby presents KDx, a new software-based way to control and edit Yamaha synthesizers.

Originally inspired by the PG-ANX and PG-FMX controllers shown at Superbooth, KDx has evolved into a comprehensive editing environment supporting Yamaha Montage M, Montage, MODX, MODX+, Reface series, Seqtrak and more.

In this session, Kier demonstrates visual editing workflows for the AN-X, FM-X and AWM2 engines, live set management, real-time parameter control and deep sound design possibilities using Yamaha hardware synthesizers.

The video also explores hidden editing capabilities inside Yamaha Seqtrak, including expanded AWM2 and FM editing workflows.
