The original pickguard had peeled up in the corners and had been glued back a few time so I finally took it off and have a new nice and thin less showy one. I have 2 pickups a Lawrence and this DeArmond I haven't used either lately so I want to see how the both sound. If I don't like them I may get a Seymour Duncan Woody. Oh the guitar is a FG300 from about 1968
