Jonathan Waldenfrid is a Stockholm-based keyboardist and producer whose diverse sound and style have made him one of Sweden’s most sought-after musicians. Over the past few years, he has toured globally with the band Dirty Loops and has been a prominent figure in the gospel music scene, performing with renowned artists such as Samuel Ljungblahd and Carola.
In this performance, he explores the different organ sounds in the Yamaha YC keyboard, focusing mainly on the new H4 organ sound. He starts with a few fundamental drawbars and gradually builds to a full drawbar configuration with a warm pre-drive. While showcasing the organ’s depth, he also layers in Rhodes and synth sounds, blending them seamlessly to highlight the keyboard’s rich tonal possibilities.
Joined by Simon Liljeblad on drums and Tobias Grenholm on bass, the trio brings a cohesive energy. Over the years, they have collaborated on numerous projects.
