How to get the sword:
Kill Tessho, the Dojo Master. He will carry this on Hard difficulty.
Alternative way to obtain the sword:
Shikano-cho - Magistrate Job (Secret Delivery) on Hard mode. A patrolling magistrate will carry this sword occasionally.

If you visit Amahara shrine during morning, afternoon or evening whilst not on a mission then you can bet and take part in a little competition.
Basically you put some money up front with Kotsubo and he calls on one of his buddies for you to fight with.
0:00 - Rakusui (Bottom Stance)
2:43 - Taronosuke (Dual Wield)
5:01 - The Count (Center Stance)
6:38 - Manju (Quick-Draw Stance)
8:33 - Oemaru (Top Stance)
If you win, then you get double your money back. Initially the bets start off fairly small and you can only fight once per time period but as time continues and you win more fights the initial bet goes up. Which can make this side quest a nice little earner.")
