Part 6 of my Yakuza Kiwami Pocket Race guide. Here are the setups I used to complete the Champion Cup and the 2005 King Of Speed Cup.
Note: Make sure you pick up the "New Bumper" from the Ebisu Pawn shop which becomes available after Chapter 10 (comments on my videos say thay this can be earnt as early as Chapter 6, but I haven't personally confirmed this).
For other racing parts - Don Quiote shop sells beginner parts, the weapons dealer in Purgatory in chapter 5 sells some more parts, the secret room in Beam sells some great parts and the rest of the parts are sold through the Pocket Circuit shop.
"The Dragon Of Pocket Circuit Reborn!" Trophy will pop once the 2005 King Of Speed cup has been completed.
You mileage may vary on these setups - there is luck involved in these races and they are by far the hardest in the game. I tried quite a number of different setups, I can't find any that work 100% of the time, but the ones in the videos were the most consistant. Let me know in the comments if you have a better setup!
