At the Yiwu Global BC Tech Innovation Summit 2025, Senior Research Fellow at UNSW, Yajie Jiang, noted that BC pushes silicon cells to the limit by removing all front-side metal contacts. ⚡

She emphasized that PV progress won’t rely on a single structure — different technologies will serve different scenarios, and AIKO will continue working with global experts to drive each to its highest efficiency and stability.

Together, AIKO and UNSW are developing photon multiplication on top of BC, aiming to push crystalline silicon efficiency beyond 30%.
