What worldview best explains the human capacity to think and make rational inferences? According to the ‘argument from reason’, this is strong evidence for the existence of God, especially the Creator God of the Bible. If humans were created in God’s image and God designed our minds, it is unsurprising that they work and can perform impressive feats. But if atheism is true and humans are merely accidental byproducts of evolution, what is the likelihood such a blind process would produce creatures who can reason properly?
To delve more deeply into this topic, Dawn Blount interviews Keaton Halley, an apologist with Creation Ministries International. They discuss rationality, consciousness, natural selection, randomness, and evidence for the soul. At the end of the day, it’s clear that reason requires God. As C.S. Lewis once noted, the human ability to think and reason is the “cardinal difficulty with naturalism”.

For nearly a century it has been claimed that mutations are the engine that drives evolution, bringing new traits and information to the genome.
And yet, the more we have learned about mutations, the more they have been shown for what they really are: A _destructive_ force, rather than a creative one—responsible for hundreds of thousands of different diseases in humans alone!
Even when mutations produce ‘beneficial’ changes (for example, bacteria developing resistance to antibiotics), a closer examination nevertheless reveals that mutations have _broken_ something existing, rather than creating something new.
Mutations aren’t the engine of evolution. _They are its end._
Join plant biologist Dr Don Batten for a revealing exploration of the _true_ power of mutations.
⏳ CHAPTERS 00:00 Teaser 00:26 Introduction: Are mutations capable of driving evolution? 00:50 What are mutations? 01:36 What do mutations need to do in order for evolution work? 02:56 So, are mutations up to the job? 04:14 Mutations don’t create things—they WRECK things! 05:06 Even ‘beneficial’ mutations still wreck things! 05:27 → Case study 1: Antibiotic resistance 07:04 → Analogy: Blowing up bridges 07:56 Cancer is caused by mutations 08:21 Lab experiments show that mutations break, rather than make things 08:36 → Fruit fly experiments 10:13 → Crop breeding experiments 11:28 Mutations produce exactly the wrong sort of change! 12:24 Case study 2: Sickle-cell anemia 14:09 Highschool textbooks do not tell the truth about mutations 15:35 If not mutations, then what? How did the human brain (or any other kind of brain, for that matter) come to be?
Most people are so used to hearing that ALL the wonders of biology are the product of evolution, that they don’t stop to ponder the details. But, since we’re talking about brains, ponder we must:
Is ‘unguided evolution’ a reasonable, scientific explanation for the origin of the stunningly complex, inextricably integrated, and apparently over-engineered human brain?
Or is ‘design’, in fact, a more reasonable conclusion, based on the evidence?
Join psychiatrist, Dr Dianne Grocott, for a fascinating discussion of the grey matter that enables creationists and evolutionists alike to ponder anything at all.
⏳ CHAPTERS 00:00 Teaser 00:49 Introduction: Meet a psychiatrist who believes the brain is designed, not evolved 02:08 Five prerequisites for belief in brain evolution 05:54 Different ‘glasses’ (worldviews) through which we can view the brain 07:01 → Why did you change your ‘glasses’? 08:24 → Christianity makes sense of death as a God-ordained limitation to evil 09:22 Brain chemistry and structure 10:48 Connectivity in the brain 13:03 Brain plasticity and compensation 15:17 How do you help someone with reduced or impaired brain function? 16:26 We learn about brain function by studying brains that are NOT functioning correctly 17:10 Communication within the brain: Too complex and finely-tuned to have evolved! 22:22 ADHD: An example of dysregulation in the brain 25:47 → Dopamine and ADHD 29:12 → Where does dopamine come from? 31:28 The brain didn’t evolve! 32:06 Why does it matter which ‘glasses’ (worldview) we view the brain through? 33:49 The frontal lobe and the limbic system 36:53 → How could the human frontal lobe have evolved? 38:03 Why are people scared of the Designer? 39:33 Challenge: Which worldview ‘glasses’ will you choose?

Archaeology supports the Bible’s claims about three great kings: King David, Hezekiah, and Belshazzar. This interview elaborates on the findings that show the Bible is historically accurate, even overturning the views of critics. Plus, there is bonus content discussing the evidence for the elusive “Darius the Mede” of the book of Daniel. New discoveries continue to vindicate the Bible.
Keaton has spent countless hours researching archaeology and visiting major museums around the world. He’s also helped to lead multiple tours of both Egypt and Israel.

Everybody knows that the New Testament is really important to Christians. But what about the Old Testament? Does it have value to bring, too?
Many people think of the Old Testament as a confusing mix of mythology, ancient Jewish laws, and poetry—all presided over by an angry, hard-to-please god. Are they right? Is the Old Testament, well, OLD, outdated, and irrelevant?
No! The Old Testament is much more than that, as Rev. Peter Howe explains. In fact, it is utterly indispensable to the New Testament and to a true Christian worldview. It was the Bible that Jesus read. It is even the source of many of the foundational values that Western society is built on!
⏳ CHAPTERS 00:00 Teaser 00:43 Introduction: The Old Testament provides the basis for the Christian worldview 02:49 The Great Flood: An important part of Old Testament history 06:07 The unfolding of God’s redemptive plan through Old Testament history 09:30 Examples of New Testament passages that don’t make sense without the Old Testament 09:49 → Jesus as the ‘Last Adam’ (Rom. 5 & 1 Cor. 15) 12:21 → Jews vs Samaritans (John 4, etc.) 14:25 Difficult passages in the Old Testament? 15:05 → The conquest of Canaan: Is God a moral monster? 17:54 → Anger in the Psalms: Exalting violent retribution? 23:18 → Ecclesiastes: A nihilistic book that declares life to be meaningless? 27:38 The Old Testament is foundational to the good things we value in our culture 30:10 The Old Testament is foundational to the New Testament 33:13 The Old Testament was the Bible that Jesus read 35:27 Recommendation: The Gospel of Matthew is a good place to start seeing Old Testament connections in the New 36:57 Learn foundational biblical worldview from Genesis 1–11 in _The Genesis Academy_
