BYU President C. Shane Reese and other campus leaders took to the skies last week with Army ROTC cadets, boarding a Black Hawk helicopter for a training exercise. They flew over the Provo campus and Y Mountain as part of a two-day program designed to sharpen cadets' military skills. The helicopters continued on to Camp Williams.
When addressing the cadets and Utah National Guard, President C. Shane Reese said, "We are grateful for your willingness to stand tall and defend our constitution. We are so grateful for your service, and we are grateful, as a campus community, for all that you do for this amazing country, the United States of America."
