Yarn - Blanket-weight yarn is a fun art medium, so why not make a journal cover with it? I've created lots of yarn paintings and this project is something I've been thinking about for awhile and now it exists - FUN.

The yarn is soft to the touch and the cover is really sturdy, perfect for its elastic binding. This journal cover can be turned into any kind of journal that you want it to be: art, mixed media, scrapbook, junk, glue, etc.

It is made with heavy-duty chipboard, blanket-weight acrylic yarn, fabric, scrapbook paper, and strong glue.
Cover is 5-1/2" wide X 9" tall X 1" thick at the spine.
If has two signatures: 24 pages front and back of sketchbook paper, and 16 pages front and back of mixed media paper; however, because it has elastic binding, pages can be added and pages can be removed for doing the art and put back again.
