Highvalley Skateworld is one of the largest and best skateparks in Europe and in the world. It is the largest skatepark in Stockholm and in my opinion the best in Sweden. What is a surfskate? The surfskate is a skateboard with a truck designed for pumping and carving in a very similar way to what you do in surfing when trying to pick up speed, for example, to overcome a slightly faded section of a wave or when we try to gain the speed necessary for a maneuver. There a a few main surfskate brands: Yow Surf, Carver, Smoothstar, Swelltech and Waterborne surf adapter. Currently I ride Yow surfskate, but I would like to test the other brands as well. SANTORINI in COLOMBIA | HACIENDA NAPOLES in DORADAL | DRONE 4K ThinLineMedia 2022-05-17 | Santorini island, in Greece, was the main inspiration for the architecture of La Aldea Doradal. This Colombian village is part of the township of Doradal, in the municipality of Puerto Triunfo, Antioquia. ‘Colombia’s Santorini’ is located 4 hours away from Bogota, Colombia and three hours from Medellín. It was built in 1980. Pablo Escobar, the famous drug lord, owned at least one house in the village. There are even rumors of Escobar sending an architect scout to Santorini to pick up on some local Greek elements to replicate in Doradal. Doradal is mostly known for Pablo Escobar's luxurious estate, Hacienda Napoles which is located 1 kilometer away from Santorini. The estate included a Spanish colonial house, a sculpture park, and a complete zoo that included many kinds of animals from different continents such as antelope, elephants, exotic birds, giraffes, hippopotamuses, ostriches, and ponies. The ranch also boasted a large collection of old and luxury cars and bikes, a private airport, a bullring, and even a kart-racing track. 40 years ago Colombia's Santorini was in full bloom. Large parties and concerts were held in the square. Most of the cabins were summer homes for families from Medellín and Bogotá. Later, the region was hit by drug trafficking and was abandoned for many years. In 1991 the leader of the Medellín Cartel had an agreement with the Colombian government in which Escobar would surrender to authorities and serve a maximum term of five full years and the Colombian government would not extradite him to the United States. The druglord's prison was believed to have been designed more to keep out his enemies and protect him from assassination attempts, than to keep Escobar in. The finished prison was often called "Hotel Escobar" or "Club Medellín", because of how luxury it was. La Catedral had a football pitch, giant doll house, bar, jacuzzi and waterfall. Pablo Escobar also had a telescope installed that allowed him to look down onto the city of Medellín to his daughter's residence while talking on the phone with her. It is very light and has the best video quality of all 360 cameras in my opinion. This time I took this camera to film some powder snowboarding in Laax ski resort, Switzerland. To get these different shots I used a belt mount, helmet mount and invisible selfie stick. With a 360 action camera you are not limited in your creativity and you can film yourself from any angle. After you are done filming you can choose and frame your shots in the Insta360 app or with Insta360 plugin in Adobe Premiere Pro. I filmed this 360 video in a DLog profile in 5.7K resolution. I then imported my Insta360 video files into Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and color grading. In Premiere Pro I used GoPro FX Reframe plugin to edit this 360 footage. GoPro SNOWBOARDING 5k 60fps | LONG ICY RUN in Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, Spain ThinLineMedia 2022-03-25 | When you go snowboarding snow conditions are not always perfect. This winter when I was snowboarding in Sierra Nevada, a ski resort in Spain, there was very little snowfall and I had to snowboard ice almost every day of my trip. This slope may seem like it has some snow, but it is only 1cm of fake snow on top of pure ice. This ski run started at Veleta 3024m of altitude and ended up in Sierra Nevada village at 2078m of altitude. The weather was sunny but quite cold so I wanted to test if GoPro Hero10 would be able to film 5K 60fps in cold weather for a long time. SNOWBOARDING LONGEST POWDER RUN in SWISS ALPS | Verbier Ski Resort - Switzerland | Insta360 One X2 ThinLineMedia 2022-03-09 | I went snowboarding to Verbier Ski Resort located in the french part of Swiss Alps. I got very lucky with sunny weather and perfect snow conditions and I got a chance to ride the longest and the best powder run of my life. Verbier is considered to be the best ski resort in the world for freeriding. It is also considered to be the most extreme ski resort with lots of super steep terrain and double black slopes. If you are lucky with snow conditions you will be able to discover limitless off piste terrain for powder snowboarding or skiing. I have visited a lot of ski resorts in Switzerland before I went to Verbier. This powder run is probably the longest run in all of Swiss Alps. I even think it could be the longest powder run in Europe as well. It starts at Savoleyres 2347 m and goes all the way down to the Verbier village at 1550 m. This powder line is not so steep but the speed is still quite high so it feels more like you are surfing than snowboarding. I filmed this video on the best 360 camera - Insta360 One X2. Sierra Nevada is the most southern ski resort in Europe. The closest cities are Malaga and Granada. When the weather is good you can even see the African coast from the highest point of this ski resort. Sierra Nevada has a total of 110 km of ski runs. On the last warm summer day I took my Yow surfskate to explore my hometown. Stockholm is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Although it is not the best city for skating you can still find some good spots to ride your longboard or in my case a Yow Padang Padang surfskate. Surfskate gives you the same feeling of surfing as you would get on a real surfboard. On a good surfskate you never have to push. You can pump and carve forever without putting your foot on the ground. When you do actual surfing you don't get much practice for surfing moves, since you spend most of time paddling. That is why a few skateboard / longboard brands came up with a surfskate. A surfskate has a special surf adapter on the front wheels. This surf adapter gives you ability to make radical turns or very deep carves, like you would do on a surfboard. A surfskate practise or training will improve your surfing a lot. There are three main brands of surfskates: Yow, Carver and Smoothstar. My favorite is Yow surfskate at the moment. YowSurf is based out of Spain.This cinematic travel video was shot on a Sony RX100 VII camera in 4k and 1080p 120fps.In like shooting on this Sony point and shoot camera when doing lots of action, because it is very light and compact. The battery life is not the best in the camera, so you will need a few spare batteries. SNOWBOARDING LONGEST POWDER RUN IN EUROPE | Verbier Ski Resort, Switzerland | GoPro POV ThinLineMedia 2020-04-19 | This winter I went snowboarding to Verbier Ski Resort located in the french part of Switzerland. I got very lucky with sunny weather and perfect snow conditions and I got a chance to ride the longest and the best powder run of my life. Verbier is considered to be the best ski resort in the world for freeriding. It is also considered to be the most extreme ski resort with lots of super steep terrain and double black slopes. If you are lucky with snow conditions you will be able to discover limitless off piste terrain for powder snowboarding or skiing. I have visited a lot of ski resorts in Switzerland before I went to Verbier. This powder run is probably the longest run I have ever ridden. And I think it might be the longest powder run in Europe as well. It starts at Savoleyres 2347 m and it goes all the way down to the Verbier village to 1550 m . The run is not so steep but the speed is still quite high so it feels more like you are surfing than snowboarding. This was an amazing experience and I hope I will comeback there as soon as possible to repeat this run.I shot this video on GoPro Hero 6 in 120fps. I had the GoPro mounted on the helmet for POV shots and I had it on the carbon selfie stick for selfie shots. I stayed in Verbier which is a part of very big 4 Vallees ( 4 Valleys ) ski lift system. This was the day when a huge storm came to the Verbier bringing lots of fresh powder snow. The visibility was really low which sometimes made it very dangerous to ride. This situation made a lot of people to either not to ride at all or leave the resort very early. That is why I ended up snowboarding totally alone. I was even alone in the resort's largest gondola which is usually full of people. It was surreal experience to be able to ride by myself in a such big ski area. I also got a lot of epic powder face splashes which you can see in this video.Verbier is located in Swiss Alps in the french part of Switzerland. It feels completely like a french ski resort. If the weather is sunny, you can visit resort's highest mountain peak Mont Fort 3300m. From there you will be able to see the highest mountain in Europe - Mont Blanc, as well as the famous Matterhorn in Zermatt. Verbier is the best ski resort in Switzerland for Freeride. I don't recommend to film in Auto ISO setting because your drone video will become too noisy. Sometimes it is hard to guess which ISO setting to use for night shooting. To test this amazing 360 camera I decided to visit the best freestyle ski resort in the world. It is called LAAX and it is located in Swiss Alps in Switzerland. Since size is often what determines whether someone brings a camera with them or simply uses their phone, it’s worth pointing out that the RX100 is shorter than a Samsung Galaxy — although, it’s a lot thicker. Still, you can slip it into a pocket — or misplace it — just as easily as a phone. (If you’re prone to dropping things, we recommend using the RX100’s wrist strap to keep it secure and avoid the calamity of a broken camera.)The standout feature of the mark VI is that 8x zoom lens, offering a full-frame equivalent focal length range of 24-200mm. It’s the longest zoom yet in an RX100, although the side effect is a slower f/2.8-4.5 aperture rating. Still, that’s really not bad considering how much zoom range you’re getting without any additional bulk. This lens makes the camera a versatile option for vacationers who want to go way beyond a smartphone’s digital zoom.The camera has a lot of shooting modes onto the main mode dial, with Intelligent Auto, Scene, Sweep Panorama, HFR (High Frame Rate), Movie, Memory Recall, Manual, Aperture/Shutter Priority, and Program. A better name for HFR would have simply been “slow motion,” but of course Sony prefers to use inscrutable jargon instead of consumer-friendly terminology. Nomenclature aside, this is a really cool feature that has always been one of the more impressive capabilities of RX100 cameras. The onscreen controls for HFR remain as baffling as ever, but we’ve used this so many times with other Sony cameras by now that we’ve finally got it down. The standout feature of the mark VI is that Sony has managed to pack an 8x zoom lens — 24-200mm equivalent — into such a small body.This system is nothing as advanced as Sony’s new Real-Time Eye-AF and Tracking found on the new A6400, but it works well in the real world as it does have the standard Sony Eye AF, one of our favorite camera features. Although this is a a capable focusing system, it’s not perfect. We got many keepers, but we missed some as well. Even with experience shooting many versions of the RX100, practice still makes perfect.When it comes to picture quality, speedy focusing, and a versatile lens, the RX100 VII delivers on all fronts.Low light performance is also good, with an ISO range of 125-12,800, expandable down to 80 and up to 25,600. In our tests, the 1-inch sensor held up until ISO 2,000, then began to add noise and color shifts. ISO 3,200 would be about as high as we’d go for a fairly accurate rendition. After that, the effect of noise is just too strong — it’s certainly better than what you’ll find in cameras with smaller sensors, but don’t expect the high ISO quality of an APS-C or full-frame camera.Video, as is so often the case with Sony cameras, is another strong point. HFR mode offers degrees of slow-motion up to 32x (960 fps, 30 fps playback), although this drops quality to 1,244 x 420 effective pixels. We tended to prefer the more modest 8x (240 fps) option, which maintains a higher effective resolution of 1,824 x 1,026 (see sample video) and isn’t so ridiculously slow that you end up with way more footage than you bargained for. (For the record, actual 1080p video in non-HFR mode can be recorded up to 120 fps.) Again, the onscreen instructions for HFR are just plain weird, but if you follow them, you’ll get a nice slow-motion effect.The RX100 VII is also 4K HDR-compatible and features both Sony’s S-Log and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) picture profiles, which improve highlight and shadow detail normally lost in compressed video. We shot the XAVC S codec at 60p and 50 megabits per second and the results on a large screen were really fine with great detail and little rolling shutter effect. The videos are close to state-of-the-art, especially for such a small camera, something you really can’t say about competitors Leica, Panasonic, and Canon who all offer otherwise similar 1-inch-sensor cameras.Where I get my music ?
