As a dancefloor exorcist, BAKA BAKQA summons a New Wave that is both unifying and provocative. Merging a dark aesthetic and a fascination for the 80s, this committed artist of the Goth scene unveils scripted DJ sets, showcasing a wide spectrum of rhythms and dynamics (from 90 to 180 BPM).
In his rituals, BAKA BAKQA explores a variety of genres, from Dark Wave to Synth Pop, through EBM, Italo Disco, or New Beat. A journey intertwining darkness, melancholy, nostalgia, poetry, and unabashed violence!
He is the founder of the Dark Wave / Post Punk nights ‘Gouter de Nuit’ in Paris.
