XPeng just held its official Brand Day in Melbourne, marking a complete reset for the Chinese EV giant in Australia! After cutting ties with independent importer TrueEV, XPeng ANZ is now 100% factory-backed, taking full control of sales, warranty support, and launching a massive product offensive. I was on the floor to check out the headliners:
⚡ XPeng X9: A luxury 7-seat 800V MPV priced at $89,900 AUD with standard rear-wheel steering and 12-minute 10–80% fast charging.
🔥 XPeng L03: The sleek new coupe-SUV targeting the ~$45,000 market with a 0.228 Cd drag coefficient, 26.8" Head-Up Display, and free VLA 2.0 self-driving tech.
🚀 5 New EVs in 6 Months: Including the updated MY26 G6, G9L, L05, and future Kunpeng Range Extenders (EREVs)!
