This film is the prequel to the X-Men films. It brings together Professor Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr (Magneto) and a band of young mutants. Wētā FX handled extensive visual effects work for the film's final showdown between the Soviet and US navies near Cuba, using physics-based simulations to solve some of the most challenging sequences in the film.
