Pros
- Very nicely detailed flying model of the UH-60L. Includes a display stand for showing it off.
- Lightweight, only 96 grams with battery. Does not require registration or remote id in most countries.
- Flybarless four channel helicopter. All stabilization is done through onboard 6G electronic gyros and accelerometers. Easy to fly with this stabilization system. It's very similar (if not the same) as flying a 6G stabilized drone.
- Includes altitude hold to help beginner pilots maintain steady elevation, especially indoors.
- Very maneuverable with true swashplate cyclic control of pitch and roll, and collective control of up and down.
- Powered by durable brushless 1106 main rotor motor, and 0720 brushed tail rotor motor.
- Also powered by inexpensive 3.8V 800mah LiHV, provides about 8 minutes flight time. Large battery bay can fit many other LiPo and LiHV batteries of similar size, or smaller.
- Transmitter control range of up to 100 meters. This is more than adequate, as you will have a hard time seeing this little helicopter past 50 meters.
Cons
- Its brushless motor does draw quite a bit of power. Expect shorter flight times as compared to similar brushed motor helicopters.
- Very detailed helicopter. But the plastic details may be rather fragile to breakage in crashes. But it should be easily repaired with plastic modelers glue.
- 6G stabilized mode only. Although it has true collective control, advanced pilots can not fly 3D with this helicopter.
