Saves 2 ethers, loses 7ish seconds. I got lucky here, catching him with the duck flare like that, so without that luck this loses 9sh seconds.
No idea if this is consistent, but I imagine it is.
Honestly though, even saving the 2 ethers might not be enough to be worth it.
