In this week's episode, Melissa and Desiree interview special guest Zeke Peña, Xicano Illustrator and Cartoonist. Zeke explains how comics and cartoons drew him towards painting and drawing and led him to explore art in university. His path in university didn’t pan out how he wanted, but his experiences in freelancing after he graduated helped him find his current path as an illustrator! Listen in to hear more on how he found his style, his experiences in the art and publishing world, what influences his decisions for projects, and how he artistically approaches projects differently.
