The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier is actually a dang good product given it's low price point. Having the ability to control the purifier from your phone from anywhere is a huge bonus. Not to mention the ability to see the quality of the nearby air from anywhere. There's a few drawbacks including some server issues and, for me, getting the wrong power cord, but can be addressed easily and in my opinion should still be considered.
