Chester Park이 운영하는 음향 커뮤니티 SoySauce Studio Online의 정기 프로젝트의 일환으로 제작되는 무료 컴필레이션 앨범, "The Secret Sauce" 시리즈가 벌써 4번째를 맞이했다. 이전의 컴필레이션 앨범과 마찬가지로 "The Secret Sauce Vol.4"는 참여 아티스트들의 PR 목적 쇼케이스 및 제작자의 자기만족을 위한 무료 앨범으로 기획되었다.

다양한 분야에서 활동하는 11인의 아티스트들이 참여한 "The Secret Sauce Vol.4"는, 이전의 작품 대비 테크니컬적인 부분이 강조되엇다. 물론 이전부터 추구해왔던 각기 다른 장르와 개성을 가진 11개의 음악들이 한 앨범에 모여서 만들어내는 시너지는 여전히 유지되고 있다.

특히 이번에는 광주를 기반으로 활동하는 작곡 그룹, "슬러시다운" 소속의 Overflowed 와 리니 작, 마찬가지로 광주를 기반으로 활동하는 lowplace, 그리고 Diverse System 등 일본의 레이블에 곡을 제공했던 Xeno가 참여하여 눈길을 끈다. 작년부터 참여해왔던 일본 크리에이터 그룹, "Oshiribeats"의 수장 Norts가 이번에는 디자인을 담당하였다. 이 밖에도 SSSO의 재능 있는 아티스트들이 선보이는 시너지를 감상해보자.

"The Secret Sauce Vol.4"는 2024년 8월 1일. Bandcamp를 통해 무료 배포될 예정이다. 동시에 다른 음원 스트리밍 사이트에서도 만나볼 수 있다.
