Racing in my Xenon in the 750MC Sport Specials series at Pembrey. I've opted to start from the back of the grid so that I can get some video footage of the other guys racing Xenons as I chase them through the pack. As it turned out, our cars were a lot more capable in the wet weather and I worked my way up from 20th on the grid to 2nd before being overtaken by the eventual winner who had started from the pit lane. I finished first in class and third overall. There was more grip and speed to be had from the car (as you'll see in the video) but because of the spray at the start of the race I had no idea of my position - I thought I was running sixth or seventh. If I'd known I was challenging for the race lead at one point (the number 1 Eclipse) I would have pushed a bit harder!
