This was my first time out in the prototype Xenon race car, at the PPC magazine trackday at Mallory Park in May 2012. All of the cars present at the day were modified to a lesser or greater extent. This Escort Cosworth was one of the few cars that I couldn't catch so I had a chat with the owner afterwards to find out what he'd done to it.
The track is damp and I haven't driven the car in anger before so I'm exploring the limits as I go. You'll see a quick correction around Gerrards twoards the end of the video.
