My second race at Brands Hatch. Qualifying was in the wet so some of the more powerful cars were further down the grid than usual. My mid-engined rear wheel drive Xenon has a great wet weather balance which placed me fifth on the grid. Lessons learnt in the first race meant revised dry suspension geometry and tyre pressures and also gave me a bit more of a clue about what RPM to launch at. I planned for a good start and got one - after that it was just a case of pedalling as fast as I could before the pack caught up with me!
