An excellent JRPG but one I reckon will be disappointing to people who loved the original for it's story and characters due to a stronger focus on world exploration, character customization, and side content. Story missions are also heavily gated by grindy prerequisites.
Some wrong info in the review: 5 regions not 4. Not sure how I forgot that. Also there's a repeatable affinity giving quest you can do after finishing the main game that's supposed to level up affinity much faster.
