Xencelabs Welcomes Shannon Hallstein, Visual Development Artist as our Artist Spotlight for July!
Before graduating, Shannon worked as a freelance Visual development artist for various clients, including Hasbro and Bandai Namco.
In her time at school, she acted as an Art Director/Story Artist for several animated short films in the collaborative studio environment at the Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating, she has been a visual development artist at DreamWorks TV on the Doug Unplugs pre-school production as well as the Abominable series now streaming on Hulu. She has also worked at Warner Brothers as a character designer for the Wings of Fire project. She is currently at the Walt Disney Animation Studios, designing environments for the upcoming Tiana series.
She loves the collaborative process of working alongside other talented artists to be inspired and create something truly special. Between projects, she likes to paint her stories, play guitar, and bake delectable treats.
